They put a witch on trial.
She asked who was offended. They stared. She asked what she did. They yelled. She asked for proof. They provided histories and gossip and cries and posts. She cried. They laughed. She said she was sorry. They scowled.
She despaired, yelling and screaming and pounding her feet on the ground. She screamed, “What is even a witch?!” as they dragged her away.
